Glacial landforms - Many now-familiar glacial landforms were created by the movement of huge sheets of ice called continental glaciers during the Pleistocene Epoch (more commonly called the Ice Age.)

Glaciokarst - A karst landscape that was glaciated during the cold periods of the Pleistocene and displays major landforms of glacial influence. For this reason karstification can be pre- and/or post- Pleistocene, this is not easy to classifiy.

Glacial striations - Glacial striations or glacial grooves are gouges or grooves cut into the bedrock by glacial ice and meltwater as it slowly ground its way along during one of the Earth's Ice Ages or by mountain glaciers. Striations usually occur as multiple, straight parallel lines representing the movement of the sediment loaded base of the glacier.
