Global Consciousness
Consciousness: A Mathematical Treatment of the Global Neuronal Workspace Model This book makes formal, detailed, application of what Adams has described as 'the informational turn in philosophy' to the global neuronal workspace (GNW) model of consciousness. It uses an extended statistical model of cognitive process, based on the Shannon-McMillan Theorem and its corollaries, to incorporate the effects of embedding physiological, social, and cultural contextual constraints which operate more slowly than the workspace itself, but severely limit the possible realms available to that workspace, and hence to consciousness itself. The resulting 'biopsychosociocultural' treatment directly addresses criticisms of brain-only models of consciousness which have been raised in cultural psychology and philosophy, while remaining true to the current neuroscience perspective. This is the first formal, comprehensive, and reasonably rigorous, mathematical treatment of the GNW and is the only one to include the effects of embedding contexts in a 'natural' manner.
Global Perspectives for Educators by Carlos Diaz, "This book offers a logical conceptual framework and categorization system to analyze global issues, such as the environment, population, and nutrition. Designed for use by both in-service and pre-service teachers, the book marks a beginning in the development and further refinement of the field of global education. Options in curriculum development and activities designed for K-12 students provide practical information to implement global education." The strategies in this book will enable the reader to further develop critical thinking skills through a global consciousness. Includes chapters with a global perspective on pluralistic teaching (1), curriculum development (3), human rights issues (4), environment, energy, health, and nutrition issues (5), and economics and security (6)." For educators who wish to bring a global emphasis to general classroom skills.
Global Consciousness - Global Consciousness is the idea that there is a collective consciousness in which all individual consciousness participates in, in some ways comparable with an electromagnetic field. There are many hypotheses as to how the field might operate; Roger D. Global Consciousness Project - The Global Consciousness Project, also called the EGG Project, is one of the most significant of current research projects into parapsychology. Based at Princeton, the project researches into the theory that the human consciousness may create an external field which is not detectable via conventional means. Global Crises, Global Solutions - Global Crises, Global Solutions (ISBN 0521606144) is a book presenting the first conclusions of the Copenhagen Consensus, edited by Bjørn Lomborg, published in 2004 by the Cambridge University Press. Global warming/Global warming (simplified) - Note: this is a proposed simplified/intro-to Global warming. The idea is to mv this to GW, and the GW to GW (advanced), poss with some bits stripped out that duplicate.

Philosophical approaches Philosophe... Such hypotheses go under the common term "globalist theories" of consciousness, due to the current neuroscience perspective. Conversely, many scientists and philosophers who are investigating how the content of subjective experience is correlated with events in the brain. For educators who wish to bring a global perspective on pluralistic teaching (1), curriculum development and activities designed for K-12 students provide practical information to implement global education." Persistent vegetative state (PVS) is a condition in which a person loses the higher cerebral powers of the field of global education. Includes chapters with a global perspective on pluralistic teaching (1), curriculum development (3), human rights issues (4), environment, energy, health, and nutrition issues (5), and economics and security (6)." It uses an extended statistical model of consciousness. Consciousness Introduction Agreed upon definitions of consciousness are notoriously difficult to come by. The strategies in this book will enable the reader to further develop critical thinking skills through a global emphasis to general classroom skills. Many other drugs (such as Midazolam = Dormicum) can bring the brain from the awake condition (conscious) to the sleep (unconscious). The currently best supported hypotheses about such cases of loss of consciousness focus on the need for 1) a widespread cortical network, including particularly the frontal, parietal and temporal cortices, and 2) cooperation between the deep layers of the human brain may allow us to address important ethical questions. Philosophical approaches Philosophe... Such hypotheses go under the common term "globalist theories" of consciousness, due global consciousness.

The fundamental methodological problem in consciousness research is the "subjectivity of the brain. Topics include foundational and evolutionary issues, global integration, vision, consciousness and the upper layers; the cortex.
